Art Rock: An Awesome Wave (2012) / Alt-J
Subdued indie rock with imagination. I love how the songs encompass multiple musical ideas per track. Nasal vocals, twangy guitars, and hushed percussion deliver a personality full of lovable idiosyncrasies and eccentricities.
